Biography:
Nathan is passionate about providing quality anesthesia care to his patients. His philosophy is to treat each patient the way he would want his family to be cared for. His professional interests are regional anesthesia, mentoring students, and anesthesia practice management. Nathan has cared for patients in many different settings from large academic hospitals, community hospitals, rural hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and office settings. His experience offers insight into finding solutions to problems that facilities may have with their anesthesia services. Nathan was born and raised in Central California and is grateful to be practicing where he grew up. Outside of work Nathan enjoys beekeeping, tending his small farm, traveling, and snowboarding.

Biography:
Matt Struthers is a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesiologist. He enjoys his work providing care to patients, often at their most critical and vulnerable time during surgery, one at a time, in a personalized, safe, and caring way. Matt has practiced in a variety of settings from large academic trauma centers, to community hospitals and small rural critical access hospitals. Matt is especially passionate about multimodal pain modalities, regional anesthesia, and learning new ways to better help his patients.
In his free time, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife, and their 2 children, doing anything outdoors- camping, hiking, biking, fishing, off-roading, and the rest.

Biography:
Matthew Twichell is originally born and raised in Reno, Nevada. Matt worked at Community Regional Medical Center and provided anesthesia services to some of the valley’s most fragile patients in a variety of surgical specialties including Neuro, gynecologic, oromaxillofacial, orthopedic, obstetric, general, trauma, and pediatric surgery.
Matthew’s primary interests lay in obstetric and regional anesthesia. He is a member of the Society of Opioid Free Anesthesia, from which he utilizes many techniques to minimize his anesthetic opiates and improve patient outcomes. He constantly researches up-and-coming regional anesthetic techniques to utilize to provide excellent post-operative pain management and improve patient satisfaction.
When he isn’t providing anesthesia, Matt is typically spending quality time with his friends and family at the lake on their boat and camping. Other interests including reading, zymurgy, motorcycle riding, working out and running throughout Clovis and the surrounding area, and entertaining his 5-year-old and 15-month-old around the house.

Biography:
Kevin Tatum is a highly capable and skilled provider specializing in the field of anesthesia. He received his nursing degree from California State University, Fresno following which he worked as an ICU registered nurse in the Burn Unit at Community Regional Medical Center. Returning to school to receive his Master’s from National University, Kevin's diverse experience has helped him deliver excellent care to patients in hospitals and outpatient sites throughout the Central Valley.
Kevin was born and raised in the central valley of California. Kevin is an avid board game connoisseur, developing his strategy in chess, playing disc golf, watching football, and being with his family. He resides in Fresno with his wife and their two children.

Biography:
Robert Lopez is a uniquely experienced Nurse Anesthetist, having served in the US Air Force providing anesthesia care for our nations bravest men and women here at home and on the battlefield. Robert has practiced in a variety of settings ranging from rural community hospitals, to large military medical academic centers, and mobile surgical teams. After nearly twenty years of service and numerous deployments, Robert has returned to the central valley and community in which he calls home. Having been born and raised in the Central Valley, Robert is most passionate about service to the health of his community by delivering high quality anesthesia care to the Valley’s diverse population while also continuing his military service as a California Air National Guardsman.

Biography:
Tiassa Powell was born in Sweden, raised in Nairobi, Kenya where she lived until completing High School. She lived in Oakland CA for many years and went to Nursing school in the Bay Area and worked at Highland Hospital in Oakland for over a decade in the ICU and ER. For higher education, she attended National University and received a MSN CRNA in 2020. In her free time, she loves to travel both internationally and locally, and loves hot yoga.

Biography:
David Hatch's passion is giving his patients the best possible anesthesia experience, while keeping their safety at the forefront. He enjoys a caring, compassionate, and evidence based approach to providing anesthesia. His anesthesia experience ranges from trauma both inner city to the most austere environments you can imagine, large and small medical centers, and outpatient acute surgical centers. He is a skilled provider in all aspects of anesthesia. Lieutenant Colonel David Hatch serves as a commander within the U.S. Army Reserve responsible for readiness and training for over 180 Soldiers. He has served our country for over 27 years, and looks forward to serving you with the same honor and dedication.
